Elizabeth Bruce
Elizabeth Bruce a PAI member is known for her colourful still life Acrylics and her new work is a variation on this theme, using a more restricted palette atmospheric Scottish landscapes in mixed media.
Open Studios fans may already be aware of her work and won’t want to miss this chance to catch up with what she has been working on most recently.
Liz is experiencing a particularly good spell, professionally speaking. Having been accepted as Artist Member of Paisley Art Institute in October 2017, she has been awarded a week’s Residency at Cove Park, which is an Artists’ Retreat, providing Residencies for all kinds of creative people, both national and international, to work on their plans for the future. www.covepark.org
Cove Park was founded in 1999 and is dedicated to the professional development of individuals and groups working in the arts and creative industries. It aims to provide artists with the time, space and freedom to experiment and develop their practice/ideas and/or to create new work. Their list of visiting artists is very long and impressive and includes some big names like Margaret Attwood.
Liz is delighted to be joining this illustrious group and are grateful to the Burgh Hall and Creative Scotland for providing the great opportunity that these Residencies offer.
