Glen Craig
SCOTTISH WATERCOLOUR ARTIST
Glen works predominantly in watercolour, but with experimental tendencies, which amplifies colour and the texture of his works. His subjects are diverse in range and he applies his unique twist to figurative, floral, abstract and his powerful landscapes.
Born in Blairgowrie, Perthshire, He graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, in Dundee, and has worked in Dundee, Glasgow, and Edinburgh. He now works form his home studio in Fife.
I work in watercolours using the Scottish landscape as my inspiration. Finding the curve of the straight line is my personal rebellion against Architectural convention. My work attempts to engage the viewer, evoking a feeling, a sense of place, an atmosphere, an unexpected detail... and most importantly, raise a smile & warm the heart of the viewer
His work is exhibited in selected galleries throughout Scotland, and he has undertaken many private commissions.
Glen will be producing new works for the Juno Gallery Exhibition in the Autumn Exhibition but introduces himself, in the meantime, with a range of available watercolours.
